À à peine 23 ans, Bastien a déjà l'étoffe d'un adulte. Endurci depuis son plus jeune âge, il a su se prendre en main. Lui qui tient à son indépendance et supporte mal l'autorité, est aujourd'hui devenu son propre patron. Ce Marseillais mûr et sympathique veut montrer qu'un jeune est capable d'aller au bout de Koh-Lanta. Et pour y parvenir, il ne fera pas de cadeau !

Bastien was placed on the Bokor tribe. The Bokor tribe turned out to be the strongest of the three starting tribes as they did not lose any of the first three Immunity Challenges, protecting Bastien from an early Tribal Council. Meanwhile, at the beginning of the second cycle, the contestants were joined by three new competitors, Sébastien Gottiniaux, Claire Pradayrol, and Vincent Roux. After placing first in the corresponding Reward Challenge, the Bokor tribe selected Sébastien to join them and increase their numbers to seven.
At the final eighteen, a tribe dissolution challenge took place, with the Sokka tribe losing and thus being disbanded. The Bokor tribe assigned Manuella Baudet to select which of its former members they would absorb and she selected Maria Beccaris and Sandro Gonzalez Schena. After this newly-constructed Bokor tribe lost the fourth Immunity Challenge, Franck Schlienger was narrowly voted out against Maria in a 5-4 vote at the corresponding Tribal Council.
The next cycle, Bastien entered into an alliance with Sandro, Sébastien, and Clémentine Jullien, all other people who had voted against Franck, and the four wanted to target stronger opponents going forward, starting with Yassin Metiri who was being cold with his tribemates socially. Unfortunately for Bastien, he wasn't able to join his allies in potentially making these moves as he had injured his knee in a challenge and had to be permanently evacuated from the game. His unorthodox elimination allowed for Kelly Beaugrand to return to the game in his place.
