Challenge: By Any Means Necessary
One castaway from each tribe will start at the top of a waterslide. When Jonathan LaPaglia says "go", he will pull a lever, where an object in a suspended net will zipline down to a sandpit at the bottom of the slide, and the castaways will then race down the slide into the sandpit. The person to get to their tribe's mat with the object in hand wins it for their tribe.
Reward: Champions: A bag of oranges, rope, and flint; Contenders: A pillow, a bag of rice, and a bag of pineapples

Challenge: Over the Top
Ten castaways from each tribe will have to go over a 4-metre wall and down a cargo net. Once everyone is on top, they will then untie a battering ram, which they'll maneuver through a series of obstacles. They will then use the battering ram to smash through a stone wall to get the battering ram to the remaining two tribe members. From there, the runners will use keys to retrieve puzzle pieces inside the battering ram. Once the puzzle solvers complete the hanging puzzle, they will then use sandbags to knock down the pieces. The first tribe to knock down all of their pieces wins.

	Anita	“	(voting against Matt) The moment I met you on Day 1, I knew you was a strategic fella and that's why you're getting my vote tonight. Take it as a compliment.	”

	Fenella	“	(voting against Matt) Hey, good on you for giving a good hard crack. You've opened my eyes to what I need to do. I think your biggest fallout was: You went against the team rather than working on relationships.	”

	Tegan	“	(voting against Steve K.) Steve, I'm really sorry mate. Um, I'm actually really sad it's you tonight. Um, I think Matt did dig his own grave, but- uh, I have to give him another night.	”

	Steve K.	“	(voting against Matt) Matt, copper mate, your time's over. You're not a team player, you don't belong here.	”

	Zach	“	(voting against Matt) You were never the original vote, mate. But you start throwing my name around, you're gonna get sent home.	”

	Shonee	“	(voting against Matt) This was to split the votes on Stevie, but now I'm not too sure.	”

	Heath	“	(voting against Matt) Matt, this wasn't my original plan tonight, but you've shown your true colours. And for that, you need to go out.	”

	Jenna	“	(voting against Steve K.) Sorry, Steve. Just a woman of my word. Sticking to the plan.	”

	Paige	“	(voting against Matt) This is the plan we made when I was so-called "not playing the game". I've always wanted to do this.	”

Final Words

	Matt	“	Of- of course you're disappointed, I mean no-one wants to go out first. But, looking back now, there's no regrets on the gameplan I had going in. Felt like there was a target on my back, and I wasn't gonna be the one that was just gonna take orders and- um, wait my turn to go out. I've got no regrets, I played hard and hopefully I'm remembered as that guy that went out first but went out with a bang.	”
