Story

Day 1

Day 2

Challenges

Challenge: Race for Fire
Tribe members will race at sea to a platform full of supplies ranging from food to survival items. The tribes then have to decide which items to take with them to camp and place them in their canoe. Once they have picked their items, the tribes will paddle their way to a farther platform where a torch is waiting. The dilemma is if whether or not tribes will stay at the first platform gathering as much items as they can or race to get fire. The first tribe to take hold of the torch wins it.
Reward: A lit torch to make fire with
Winner: Saanapu

Challenge: Throw One Over
Six members from each tribe would race across a series of three wooden A-frames and a series of stumps which they will have to use planks to traverse. At the end of the course, the six would use the rope to pull a heavy wooden crate containing puzzle pieces to a finish platform. The two remaining tribe members would collect the puzzle pieces to assemble it. The first two tribes to solve the puzzle ("Outwit, Outplay, Outlast") would win immunity and reward.
Reward: Flint
Winners (in order of finish): Saanapu and Vavau

(voting against Des) Des, it's simply a case of a little too late.

(voting against Kat) (loudly) Kat, I'm voting for you. Don't like being told what to do, only my wife does that. Good luck.

Final Words

AUS3 des bw
Des

First to go, the worst possible outcome I'd say. I think my wife's gonna say my tribe made the right decision to get rid of me because I'm very hard to live with. The message I've got for my tribe is this: Whilst you're in smooth waters now, there's a temperous sea out there in front of you, so be prepared.

Other

  • In the Throw One Over challenge, unlike in the American series, tribe members dragged the crate across the field instead of across the A-frames.
