This is the ninth episode of Australian Survivor: All Stars.
Story[]
After nearly being eliminated from the game, Phoebe made a plea to David, who was upset at her for betraying his trust. David was left feeling more vulnerable than ever before, until he found an idol.
Phoebe bet $500 of her team's money at the auction. This made Moana angry, and ready to exploit this for her tribe. At the challenge, Phoebe revealed to AK that Moana has been running the show at Mokuta. Arriving back at camp, AK shared the information with Locky and Brooke, deciding that since Moana was tight with Mat before the tribe swap, Mat cannot make it to the merge.
After a difficult loss at an endurance immunity challenge, with Shonee and Brooke losing to David and Locky after two hours, Vakama was sent to tribal council. Locky was determined to get either Mat or his idol out of the game, setting up a three-three split on John and Mat. Mat looked to use his idol against Locky. He was able to secure John's vote, but needed three more to make a majority. Mat looked to tribe members he felt were on the bottom, like Shonee, Flick, and Harry.
At Tribal Council, Mat and John were unable to secure a majority. Playing his idol, Mat was only able to ward off a tie, sending his ally John home in a 3-3-2 vote, and leaving Mat Rogers at the bottom.
Challenges[]
Challenge: Survivor Auction
Instead of each person having their individual allowance, this auction was tribe-based. Each tribe gets $2000 that they must share. Individuals get to bid on items, and are not allowed to share.

Final Words[]
John |
“ | The best haircut in the game is now gone. You've got Locky and Brooke, they're steering the ship. And anyone outside of that, they're all in a very precarious position as long as those two are running the tribe. I honestly think tonight, Flick, had she got in on that vote, that would have changed everything. Flick, just grow a set. | ” |
