This is the eighth episode of Australian Survivor: All Stars.
Story[]
At the Immunity Challenge, it was revealed that both tribes would be going to Tribal Council, and each tribe playing for individual immunity. During the challenge, Moana made a pitch to David to work together when they both made the merge, telling him she could be his Luke Toki, and that no one would suspect it. Brooke and Jacqui both won.
At Vakama, Shonee hoped to continue her plan of revenge by taking out Lydia. The majority alliance intended to split the votes on Lydia and John. Unwilling to go down without a fight, Lydia pitched a blindside on Mat, who had a Hidden Immunity Idol with him. Appealing to the egos of AK and Harry, Lydia told her them that voting her out was too lazy for an All Stars season. Lydia also relied on misinformation, telling Locky and Brooke that Mat had been throwing his name out.
Meanwhile at Mokuta, several voting blocks emerged. An early pitch by Nick was to take out Moana. Looking to take out the original snake, David told Moana to vote for Nick, sure he had the numbers for a blindside. But looking to make a move of her own, Moana looked to her tribe to blindside Phoebe, so she could weaken David.
At Tribal Council, host Jonathan revealed one final twist: the two contestants voted off their tribe would receive one final lifeline. They would duel in a fire-making challenge, with the winner returning to their tribe. Vakama sent Lydia into fire over John in a 5-4 vote. Meanwhile Mokuta's votes saw Phoebe eliminated over Nick and Moana in a 4-3-2. During the challenge, Phoebe was able to catch a blaze much faster than Lydia who never caught a spark, returning her into the game and sending Lydia to get her torch snuffed, making her the first returning player in Australian Survivor history to never make it to the jury phase of the game.

Final Words[]
Lydia |
“ | Survivor: All-Stars is-is definitely the Olympics of Survivor. But at least I did not get blindsided this time, I knew the votes were coming my way. It would have been nice to pay back a blindside to the Godfather, but that wasn't gonna happen when he is sitting nice and cushy on his idol. There's so many deserving people that could win the title. It's anyone's game at this point. I was hoping to go out in a blaze of glory instead of falling flat on my butt. | ” |
