Koh-Lanta[]
Aurélien was placed on the Kadasi tribe. A rather physical presence on the tribe, Aurélien found himself in an alliance with Sébastien Cazaux, Sarah Diawara, Amri Madani, Océane Montenegro, and Alexis Tchernychev. Though the Kadasi tribe would go on to lose many of the challenges in the tribal phase, this alliance took control early on, voting out Steve Grenier at the first Tribal Council after an unsuccessful Hidden Immunity Necklace bluff on his part.
At the beginning of the second cycle, the contestants were joined by two new competitors, the challenge-oriented Léa Notardonato and the survival-oriented William Plancq, both of whom would be immune for the cycle. After winning the corresponding Reward Challenge, the Kadasi tribe selected William to join them and increase their numbers to ten. William was well received by his new tribemates and they appreciated how he helped them find edible fruits around their camp as they went on to win the Immunity Challenge of that cycle. In spite of the resulting harmony, the Kadasi tribe lost the following three challenges, one of which causing a duel between Amri and Nathalie Suhard in which the latter was eliminated and another of which leading the tribe to vote out William at Tribal Council. This caused Alexis' morale to decline significantly and, after his tribe lost yet another consecutive challenge, the majority alliance turned on him and voted him out as outsiders Pauline Bonneil and Léa Sahin gradually gained more footing and more respect from the tribe for their efforts.
The Kadasi tribe had a turnaround in challenges for a cycle, but were forced to return to Tribal Council for their last time before the merge after losing the sixth Immunity Challenge. By this time, Pauline and Léa S. had integrated themselves well enough into the majority alliance, leaving no real outsiders for the tight-knit tribe to easily vote out. Regardless, shortly before Tribal Council, it became clear that the targets would be Sarah, who was perceived as a free agent that could be easily willing to sacrifice one of her tribemates at the looming Ambassadors' Meeting, and Océane, whose challenge performances were declining. Though Pauline and Léa S. chose to back Sarah up at Tribal Council, Océane was supported by Aurélien and the other men of the tribe, giving Océane just enough numbers to stay in the game over Sarah.
A couple of cycles later, the tribes merged and, even though the two tribes were now one, the six original Kadasi tribe members and the seven original Matukad tribe members strategized away from one another, with the latter group planning on pagonging the former group and trying to figure out who may have a Hidden Immunity Necklace among them and the former group working out for who to play any Hidden Immunity Necklaces at the merged tribe's first Tribal Council. However, Sébastien bonded with Jean Belmonte over the two being carpenters and learned from him that the original Matukad tribe members would be voting based off of merit, inciting the original Kadasi tribe members to want to protect Océane because she was not as strong in challenges. At Tribal Council, the original Matukad tribe members indeed voted against Océane while the original Kadasi tribe members voted against Léa N. Before the votes were read, Meïssa Seck played his Hidden Immunity Necklace for Cécile Poprawa, Pauline played hers for herself, and Amri played his for himself and for Océane, resulting in Léa N. being "idoled out."
Throughout the next cycle, Meïssa began to bond well with Amri and this, along with his frustration towards his original allies for ignoring his advice regarding Océane, incited him to shift his allegiance. For the time being, the pair agreed that Meïssa would continue to vote with the original Matukad tribe members but would inform Amri about who their targets would be. After Jean won the second individual Immunity Challenge, he and his allies agreed to vote against Amri next, so Meïssa leaked this information to Amri as agreed upon. Fortunately for Amri, he would be able to protect himself as he had found a Hidden Immunity Necklace earlier in the cycle and, at Tribal Council, he played it for himself and Cécile was "idoled out" by the votes of the original Kadasi tribe members.
At the final ten, the Tied Destinies twist took place and the pairings were Jean and Mégane Rouland, Pauline and Meïssa, Sébastien and Aurélien, Amri and Julie Rignault, and David Murail and Léa S. Wanting for their partnership to remain clandestine, Meïssa tried to convince Amri to vote against the only pair without original Matukad tribe members in it, Sébastien and Aurélien, when Tribal Council would come, but Amri refused. Meanwhile, David and Léa S. bonded well, with the former inviting the latter into an alliance including themselves, Jean, Julie, and Mégane. When it was time for the individual Immunity Challenge, it was won by the only pair without original Kadasi tribe members in it, Jean and Mégane, setting the tone for which group of the original Kadasi tribe members and the original Matukad tribe members would be holding more power at the coming Tribal Council. It was at this point when Aurélien's game quickly crumbled. At camp the next morning, Sébastien got angry at Julie when she did some chores that woke him up and he told her to shut her mouth in the ensuing squabble. Understanding that some of his tribemates had lost a degree of respect for Sébastien for this attitude and knowing that this made the target on their backs bigger, Aurélien exposed Meïssa's double-dealing to the original Matukad tribe members in order to shift the target onto him. This backfired as even though the pair of Pauline and Meïssa received some votes at Tribal Council, Sébastien received even more votes against him than foreseen, including one from Amri, and was voted out, eliminating both him and Aurélien.
The next cycle, Jean was permanently evacuated from the game after having gravely sprained his ankle, leading to Sébastien and Aurélien competing in a duel at the beginning of the following cycle to determine who would return to the game in his place. Aurélien lost the duel to Sébastien, eliminating him from the game and becoming the fourth jury member.
At the Final Tribal Council, Aurélien cast his vote for Léa S. to win the title of Sole Survivor; she won in a 8-3 vote over Meïssa.
