Koh-Lanta[]
A member of the Kumo tribe, Aude began the game with decent social standing and didn't initially seem to be in danger of going home when her tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge. However, Mathieu Huguin, who knowingly was targeted for elimination due to letting go his share of the weight so easily in the first Immunity Challenge, campaigned for Aude to receive votes and go home because she was the person that he had developed the least affinity with. When she found out about Mathieu's campaigning, Aude asked the tribe to vote her out because she felt that nobody there deserved to receive her vote against them and because, in turn, she was willing to sacrifice herself for the rest of them to remain in the game. At Tribal Council, Denis Brogniart criticized Aude for this decision because she signed up for a game where one of its crucial aspects was to vote other people off for whatever reasons in order to get to the end and win. Though Denis allowed the tribe to vote Aude off properly, he did not offer Aude the opportunity to address her tribe one last time before leaving and, upon her exit, he informed the tribe that they have to vote someone else out because Aude's elimination would be treated as if it were a quit. The rules of Koh-Lanta state that in the event of an unorthodox elimination of a contestant, the previously eliminated contestant would reenter the game in place of the other contestant. However, in this case, there was no previously eliminated contestant, so joker contestant Caroline Colusso entered the game on Day 5 in her place.
