Que se preparen los Cayos Cochinos, porque un hombre acostumbrado a ganar está a punto de revolucionar por completo Supervivientes. Hablamos de Arkano, uno de los freestylers más famosos de España, que hasta ostenta un récord Guinness.
Es cierto que, más allá de las batallas de gallos, tiene muchas tablas en televisión, pero jamás se había enfrentado a un reality show tan exigente como el de Telecinco: "Batí el récord mundial, tras estar más de 24 horas improvisando rimas, pero ahora se trata de sobrevivir y yo soy un superviviente", declara en su vídeo de presentación, antes de poner rumbo a Honduras.[2]
Supervivientes[]
After lying low for the first few episodes, Arkano quickly became a hit with viewers for his general demeanour and challenge prowess. Other contestants, however, were divided over him, with Pedro García Aguado quickly becoming tired of him.[3]
Arkano, as well as Javier Ungría, received support from Rocío Madrid, who was the first voted out.[4] On Day 38 he narrowly escaped exile, with contestants starting to see him as false and being turned off by him openly discussing nominations.[5] Much humour was made on the show of his physical transformation, with his hair becoming its natural blond and him having grown a beard.
By late April Arkano was considering leaving the show, saying he felt he wasn't giving anything to the plot compared to bigger personalities. "I'm surrounded by very self-assured and strong people, and I feel very small and without force."[6] After Jorge Javier Vázquez gave his usual warning to castaways that they only get one shot at the show, he carried on.
