Anita Berkett is a contestant from Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders (2018).
Bubbly and loud, Anita was a core member of the Contenders tribe. During the first few days, Anita managed to create a close alliance with Shonee Fairfax and Fenella McGowan. Despite this, Anita's naivete caused her to be easily tricked by Benji Wilson into blindsiding Tegan Gasior, sending her to Exile Beach. Seemingly safe, Anita was blindsided at the next tribal, as Heath Davies played his idol, using it to send Anita to Exile Beach also. Anita would later lose the duel against Tegan, not before notifying her of Benji's lies.

Fast talking. Non-stop. Loud. These are a few things Anita has been called in her life and while they are all definitely true, she wants to be known for something else.
"I have a bucket list and Survivor is on it! I could be the first Australian 50-year-old woman to win. I want to prove to myself, my family and my friends that anything is possible and to give all opportunities a go."
A Survivor super fan, Anita has been in training to show the younger generation that she can keep up not only mentally but physically as well. Going to the gym, doing pilates, step classes not to mention taking part in marathons and events like Tough Mudder.
"A year ago, I could only run 2kms at a time then I set myself a challenge to run a full marathon before I turned 50. Well in August last year, I completed the Sunshine Coast Marathon. I was 49. Done in five hours. I can do anything!"
A firm believer that life is short and not one to live with regrets, Anita is the number one fan of Oprah Winfrey – she even got Oprah's signature tattooed on her neck!
Anita has four adult and teenage kids and loves nothing more than making them proud and trying to be a good role model to them. She's hoping that winning the title of Sole Survivor will inspire them and also help the family financially.
Wanting to be a hero on the game, Anita knows that sometimes you have to leave your morals back at home saying, "In Survivor, moral boundaries must be crossed and it's part of the game and I accept that. I will do anything to win the game.
"I want to be a hero but don't get me wrong, I will backstab, tell a few lies and align myself with whoever I feel will help my game. All is fair in the game of Survivor."[1]
