Angela Perkins is a contestant from Survivor: Ghost Island.
Angela immediately aligned herself with the dominant Naviti Alliance, believing herself to be a valuable asset to them. However, at the third Tribal Council, Angela was nearly eliminated when her alliance betrayed her to ensure their safety. This resulted in her becoming increasingly distant from most of her tribemates, though she continued to work with them until the final four. There, she faced her original alliance member Wendell Holland in a fire-making challenge, which she ultimately lost and became the tenth member of the jury.

Pet peeves: My pet peeves are laziness or unmotivated people when they have the ability and or resources to be and do so much more, and when someone expects someone else to pull their weight. One that believes things are "rights versus privileges." Also, unorganized people or things, close-minded individuals and people who think you "owe" them something.
Three words to describe you: Spontaneous, courageous, and determined.
What's your personal claim to fame? Retirement from the U.S. Army. I served over 21 years in the Army and I was an Army officer captain. I served in the transportation unit and in a psychological Operations Battalion as an executive officer and I was the only female officer in the organization, yet still chosen to be second in command. I have been to several countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Dubai, France, Bratislava, Slovakia, Italy, and Germany. I was put in the most unusual and extreme situations and conditions and survived better than most. I was in isolated conditions where life's bare necessities were limited. While deployed to Iraq in 2003-2004, I went months with only taking bottle water showers. The supply lines were compromised so often I was forced to make a decision to either wash with my daily bottled water or consume it. I jumped from several different Military aircrafts and did drown-proofing that consisted of water survival. While deployed to Afghanistan, I was put in situations that required me to influence the local "elders" (leaders) of our U.S. missions in their country while at the same time earning their trust. This posed a huge issue because one, I am a female (and their beliefs with females are VERY different than ours) and two, I was an American. However, I was able to gain the trust of the local people as well as many elders.
Who or what is your inspiration in life? My son. He has been braver than he believes, stronger than he seems, and smarter than he thinks. I have never met a more amazing person than him.
If you could have three things on the island, what would they be and why? First would be my guitar because I have one and played a little in college but it would be a chance for me to have music and learn at the same time. Next would be paper and pen to document my experience. My memory is not the best and I want to capture as much as possible to remind me of the once in a lifetime experience I had. Finally, an iPod to listen to music.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? Michaela Bradshaw because not only was she fit, outspoken, attractive, and witty, she also spoke her mind and was extremely good at challenges. And when she won, she wasn't afraid to celebrate. She expressed her emotions on her face which is very similar to me. My friends tell me even when my mouth is shut, they know what I am saying because my facial expression "talks." I'm not afraid to express my feelings and I put a lot out there. I want to give my best self and Michaela never gave up. It was clearly depicted in the episode where she lost her top. I'll do whatever it takes to win, with or without my top.
What's your reason for being on Survivor? To fulfill an exciting and different adventure that a small percent of people get to do. I want to be part of the small group that was chosen and is remembered. Not because everyone can, or everyone gets chosen or remembered. I will be the person everyone remembers because of my unique skills and plays I will bring.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I am strong, hardworking, loyal, determined, and able to figure out most things. I am very versatile and by my looks, most wouldn't expect it. I am like the snake that you don't know is there until bitten. I have a strong ability to win people over and get them to want to do what I want just by actively listening.
Angela started the game on the Naviti tribe, who won the first two Immunity Challenges, giving them the numbers when a Tribe Switch happened on Day 7. She, along with Chris, Domenick, Morgan, and Wendell stayed on Naviti and were joined by former Malolo's Donathan, Laurel, James, and Libby. Chris tried to rally votes against Domenick after their rivalry started from the first Reward Challenge. But she and Libby were put off by his controlling demeanor. When Naviti lost their first Immunity Challenge on Day 9, with Chris sent to Ghost Island, tribal lines were split 4-4 so Angela wanted to stick to tribal lines by having the Naviti Alliance target Libby. But Domenick, Morgan, and Wendell were wary as they were not close with her and Chris before the swap. Morgan opted to target Chris's ally Angela so she, Domenick, and Wendell approached the former Malolo's to vote out Angela. This, however, gave Malolo the power to take advantage of the numbers situation and vote out any Naviti member of their choice. They settled on Morgan, but Libby tried to shift the target to Angela to keep her new ally Morgan in the game. At Tribal Council, Angela was surprised when her allies voted her and was nearly eliminated when the Malolo's blindsided Morgan. After Tribal Council, Angela was upset when her alliance betrayed her to save themselves. So when Chris returned from Ghost Island, she told him what happened to Morgan and they decided to align with the Malolo's. However, Naviti won the next two Immunity Challenges.
A second Tribe Switch occurred, where Angela and James were switched to Malolo. Angela told her former Naviti tribemates Desiree and Kellyn about what happened when Morgan got blindsided and felt betrayed. However, the only two former Malolo's left on the tribe, Michael and James tried to use this information to get Angela to flip. When Malolo lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 17, Kellyn suggested to her and Desiree on targeting James to use Michael as a potential shield, but Kellyn was wary about Angela's loyalty after Morgan's blindside. At Tribal Council, Angela didn't flip and remained loyal to Naviti in blindsiding James. After Malolo lost the next Reward Challenge with Kellyn getting sent to Ghost Island, Desiree had Michael and Angela burn their tribe's flag banner to reverse the curse of their losing streak. This supposedly payed off as Malolo ended their losing streak by winning the last challenge before the merge.
After the merge happened on Day 20, Angela became part of a sub-alliance with the Naviti women and decided to plan on blindsiding Libby. However, at Tribal Council, Angela was left in the dark when her ally Chris was blindsided. This however, motivated her to play stronger because when Michael talked with her on targeting Wendell, Angela wanted to "stir the pot" and told lies about Michael to put the target on him. She beat out Michael in the final round of the gross food eating challenge to win immunity. At Tribal Council, she was part of the split vote plan between Michael and Libby, with the latter being voted out after Michael played a Hidden Immunity Idol. Angela was then recruited as a part of Desiree's plan with the Malolo's to flip on the Naviti Alliance. After losing the next Reward Challenge, Angela was sent to Ghost Island, but she lost her vote at the next Tribal Council in the game of chance. At Tribal Council, Angela was once again left in the dark, as Desiree was blindsided after her plan got leaked by Laurel. At the Day 29 Immunity Challenge that involved a Double Elimination, Angela narrowly lost immunity to Chelsea and her team had to go to Tribal Council first. At the purple team's Tribal Council, Angela joined Chelsea and Sebastian in blindsiding former Malolo Jenna.
After the Family Visit, Kellyn brought the women together while also bringing in Donathan to target Wendell. At Tribal Council, the Naviti women stuck to their plan and voted Wendell, but Chelsea was blindsided when Donathan and Laurel sided with the men. At the next Tribal Council, Angela initially voted Donathan for his erratic behavior, but joined the Final Four Alliance in voting Kellyn out in the revote. At the final 6, Sebastian pulled in Donathan and Angela about targeting Domenick, while also using an Extra Vote to prevent a tie, but Angela relayed Sebastian's plan to Domenick. At Tribal Council, she joined Laurel, Domenick, and Wendell in blindsiding Sebastian with the advantage still in his possession. She then helped to vote Donathan out at the next Tribal Council. After losing the Final Immunity Challenge, Domenick had to choose who to compete in the firemaking challenge, Angela tried to convince Domenick that Laurel was a bigger threat. However, he chose Laurel, so Angela and Wendell competed for the last spot in the Final Three. Angela lost the challenge to Wendell, making her the 10th member of the jury.
At the Final Tribal Council, she voted for Wendell to be the Sole Survivor. However, Jeff Probst immediately read the votes, resulting in a tie for the first time in Survivor History between Domenick and Wendell, and Laurel ended up casting the winning vote for the latter to win.
