À 65 ans, André est un retraité pétillant avec un horaire de vie de type présidentiel. Après une longue carrière en affaires à redresser, diriger et créer des compagnies, il a pris sa retraite il y a 12 ans pour s'occuper de son beau-fils autiste. Ce grand rassembleur est aussi l'organisateur en chef de tous les partys et d'une quinzaine d'activités sportives par année. Sachant que les joueurs plus âgés sont souvent considérés comme des maillons faibles et éliminés en premier, il compte se surpasser dans les épreuves, créer des liens solides et se rendre indispensable au camp grâce à sa passion pour la survie. Derrière ses airs de grand-papa au cœur tendre se cache un féroce compétiteur qui est prêt à tout pour ne pas partir en premier, mais surtout pour être le dernier survivant.[1]
