Alina Wilson is a contestant from Survivor: Nicaragua.

Starting out on the younger La Flor tribe, Alina was soon relegated to the minority after her ally, Shannon Elkins, was voted out, and was next on the La Flor Alliance's hit list for the strategic threat she posed. However, she and remaining ally, Kelly Bruno, managed to avoid the hot seat, thanks to several immunity wins followed by a timely Tribe Switch that sent her to the Espada tribe. Ultimately, she was unable to recoup from losing her allies pre-merge and her status as an outcast, and became the first post-merge boot as well as the first member of the jury.

Survivor

Being one of the younger castaways of the season, Alina was initially placed under the La Flor tribe, with members aging 30 and below. Though branded as one of the strongest females of the season, Alina became an alliance outsider at the beginning.

After La Flor bartered the Medallion of Power to the rival Espada tribe for fishing supplies on Day 1, Alina and Kelly Bruno discovered a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol, though the clue was found to be very difficult to decipher. Though Alina had reservations for Kelly B.'s prosthetic leg (stipulated that Kelly B. might have an easy win should she make it until the end), she was still forced to align with her after finding the clue together.

After La Flor lost the Day 6 Immunity Challenge, Alina and Kelly B. sided with Shannon Elkins to target Brenda Lowe because of her perceived craftiness. With Shannon blindsided, Alina and Kelly B. were left alone to defend themselves against Brenda's alliance. When Brenda and NaOnka Mixon found the Hidden Immunity Idol, NaOnka decided to rant on an unsuspecting Kelly B., much to Alina's chagrin, though their scrambling would have to wait longer because La Flor would eventually win two more successive Immunity Challenges.

After the surprise Day 12 Tribe Switch, Alina, along with Benry Henry, Chase Rice, and enemy NaOnka, were all transferred to the Espada tribe. Upon reaching their new camp, Alina and NaOnka somewhat settled their differences, with the former comforting the latter's emotional distress during a heavy rain. She would remain safe at the next few rounds up until the merge, though she found herself in serious trouble because her remaining closest ally Kelly B. was eliminated back at La Flor.

When the tribes merged in Day 19, NaOnka, reunited with her alliance partners, boldly told Alina that she was being targeted by the tribe. The new Libertad tribe was split between voting for Marty Piombo or Alina. Sash Lenahan asked his alliance to keep Marty around for one more Tribal Council so that he could keep his word on the deal that he made with Marty to give up the Hidden Immunity Idol. NaOnka, who had stolen food from the feast when the tribes merged, confessed that she stole the food and then lied to everyone that Alina was with her when she stole the food. At Tribal Council, Marty became vocal that Jane Bright was the biggest threat to win the game, even going so far as announcing that should Jane reach the Final Tribal Council, that he would vote for her, leaving Jane more driven to eliminate him. Alina on the other hand was campaigning against Marty, because she thought that NaOnka, Chase, and Kelly Shinn had already betrayed Sash and Brenda's alliance and believed that she had Jane, Fabio Birza, and Holly Hoffman on her side. But ultimately, Alina was left with only Jane, sending Alina to the jury in a 10-2 vote. At the Tribal Council where both Kelly S. and NaOnka quit, while everybody was upset, she was upset the most over their quit and was in tears.

At the Final Tribal Council, Alina viewed Fabio as the "ultimate surfer boy", but she wanted to give her vote to a man. She asked Sash to convince her why she should vote for him. Sash said that Fabio was clueless about the game and Chase was wishy-washy and dependent on others. Alina was most pleasantly surprised by Chase. Chase said he was focused on getting himself in a position so that he would not be condemned if his alliance failed. Then, the finalists had an argument about Fabio's strategy and "Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast", which Alina enjoyed because she viewed it as the finalists fighting for the prize. Alina was most impressed by Chase's determination to win and gave her jury vote to him. However, Chase would lose to Fabio by a close 5-4 vote.

• Alina got married to singer/musician Ryan Welch on August 31, 2013 and is now known as Alina Welch.

Trivia

• Alina was voted out in a Tribal Council that breached beyond the standard three-day cycle. The gap between Tribal Councils of "What Goes Around, Comes Around" and "Company Will Be Arriving Soon" was four days, the longest gap between two Tribal Councils in successive episodes in the history of the series. This would then be followed by the Tribal Councils in "Not Sure Where I Stand" and "This Is Going to Hurt".
• Alina revealed that she let Kelly Shinn have her scarf after being voted out.
• Alina revealed in a Survivor Oz interview she was asked to return for Survivor: South Pacific, but did not make the final cast.
• Alina lost 8 lbs. during her time in Nicaragua.
