A member of the Machiga tribe, Alexandre contributed to the positive attitude around camp, and he developed a close bond and a possible showmance with Candice Cohen. Unfortunately, their interaction didn't last long because Candice quit on Day 5. Though he remained strong in challenges and helpful around camp, he missed Candice and began to gradually lose his motivation to compete as a result.
Going into the fifth Immunity Challenge, Alexandre felt he'd had enough and asked his tribe to throw the challenge to eliminate him. Honoring his wishes, the Machiga tribe threw this Immunity Challenge. However, the tribe regretted these actions, as losing Alexandre meant losing a number. At Tribal Council, Alexandre was voted out in a 4-2 vote.
