“	The castaways are stunned by a reward challenge that takes them by complete surprise.	”

Challenge: Thai Menu
The loved ones will compete against each other in a bug-eating contest. If a loved one does not want to cooperate, they will be disqualified from the challenge, going home without any hugs from their survivor. The last loved one to finish their food is eliminated. The last person standing wins the challenge for their survivor.
Reward: The winning loved one will stay at the Chuay Jai camp for 24 hours.
Winner: Helen Glover

Challenge: Cube Crisis
Tied with their loved one, the survivors had to gather their own misshapen pieces from a nearby pile and fit the assorted, oversized pieces in such a way that they construct a colored cube. The first person to have successfully constructed their colored cube wins.
Winner: Ted Rogers, Jr.

	Jake	“	I'm almost 61. In fact, I'll be 61 here just real quick. So, I was kind of looking forward to a little retirement income, but you know what? When one door shuts, another always opens. And I had such a grand experience here. I'll go back home to Texas, and I'll be back with my Jenny, and I'll be the happiest little guy in the world.	”

Trivia

• This was the first Reward Challenge where the loved ones competed in an exotic food challenge. This is also the first time the loved ones returned to play with the contestants at the Immunity Challenge.
• With Jake's elimination, all members of Sook Jai have been eliminated.
• Jake's vote for Jan was not revealed to the tribe.
