Hello Claude, here! As the cast is already revealed, we are officially opening the Survivor Wiki Season 48 Fantasy League!
I. Participation/Drafting Your Dream Team (mandatory):
You must have a Fandom account to join the Fantasy League.
You must assemble a team of four castaways: one from each tribe, and a fourth member from any tribe.
Your dream team must also consist of two men and two women.
Only participants are allowed to engage in Fantasy League-related threads. Any non-participating Fandom account that will meddle in the Fantasy League will be blocked for the rest of the season and off-season.
Participants with similar drafts are allowed but not similar bingo cards.
II. Bingo Game (Mandatory):
Along with your dream team, you must also submit a 3x3 bingo card featuring nine players you predict will be eliminated early in the season.
Your bingo card cannot include any members of your dream team and vice versa.
For every eliminated castaway, you earn +20.
The first participant to get a blackout before the season finale (i.e. the final episode of the season where the winner is announced) will win +200.
If multiple participants win the bingo game, all of them will receive the same points.
If no participant gets a blackout, no one wins the bingo game; but all participants will retain the points they have accumulated all season.
You may edit your answers til before the episode airs on the east coast.
The bingo game ends once there is a winner. No points will be given thereafter.
III. Bonus Questions (Optional):
Bonus Questions will be available every week and will be posted shortly after the episode's air date.
There are two sets of questions: The first ten will be "basic questions" that will be asked every week and will have fixed point values all-season, and the last five will be "special questions" that may or may not be asked in future episodes depending on the narrative/edit and will have varying point values.
Answering the Bonus Questions is not mandatory but it is encouraged.
If you choose to answer the Bonus Questions, you have to answer every question. Skipping a question will invalidate your entire submission.
You may answer "no"/"none" if applicable.
The applications and Bonus Questions thread for the week will be closed as soon as the episode airs on the East Coast. However, if the commissioner accidentally leaves these threads open during or after the episode, any submissions made during that time will still be considered valid.
Any answer considered vague by the commissioner and/or their representative will not be considered.
There will be no deductions for any wrong answer.
If any promotional material reveals the answer to any question—may it be from an interview, teaser, press release, or some other source—that question will be removed until it no longer matters.
IV. Other Rules
The commissioner (Claude) and his appointed representative reserve the right to disqualify you if you are caught using spoilers at any point during your participation in the Fantasy League. You will also receive a permanent block from Survivor Wiki for violating the Spoiler Policy.
The commissioner and his appointed representative reserve the right to make adjustments to the established scoring system and/or rules should circumstances not considered in the existing provisions arise.
Sockpuppetry—the Fandom community's term for creating additional accounts to impersonate someone else or, in this context, to gain more chances of winning the Fantasy League—is strictly prohibited. If you are caught engaging in this behavior, both your original and sockpuppet account(s) will be immediately disqualified from the current and future Fantasy Leagues, and permanently blocked from Survivor Wiki.
If an unforeseen circumstance disrupts the commissioner's performance of his commissionering duties, he may appoint a representative to assume the role until he returns. Any judgement made by the representative will be accepted by the commissioner.
If there are lapses in the scoring, any participant may reach out to the commissioner or his chosen representative via message wall or Discord.
Any deliberate attempt to break or work around the rules of the Fantasy League may result to disqualification.
If there are queries on the rules, you may freely discuss it with the commissioner.
These rules will also be posted on the FL Spreadsheet.
