Why did survivor become so “woke” and liberal. I hate it now

Why’s everything have to be political now? Regardless of what side you are.
How the fuck has pronouns become political? I have no problems with it because I choose to ignore them. Gosh, you treat it as though it will kill you before covid does.
And if you haven't gotten the memo, Survivor is inherently political.
Settle down lol
Answer my question, how are pronouns political to you?
Honestly, I don't get why some people are so mad with removing the "guys", do they feel excluded when Jeff only said, "come on in"? Or do they just naturally hate inclusivity?
This is a little ridiculous. First of all, I'll state that my opinion is that while I don't like the removal of "guys", I don't really care because it's still Survivor, and it had a fantastic premiere episode, and I'm really excited for the rest of the season.
However, it's not really fair to act like you have no idea why anyone would care about the "guys" being removed, or that anyone who does care is a bigot or hates inclusivity. "Come on in guys" is an iconic phrase for the show, so it's understandable that many people will miss it.
My biggest issue is the fact that at first the cast as a whole agreed to keep it; Evvie even stated that as a woman she didn't feel excluded by the word's use, and everyone else seemed to agree (I'm sure many of the contestants, including the women, also consider it to be an iconic phrase and part of the survivor experience.) . But Ricard, a man, stepped forward for the group and said he felt it should be changed, despite the women in the cast not feeling excluded and deciding as a group to keep it.
That being said, I still don't care that much, but don't be so up in arms about people disliking it, it was just an unnecessary change, even if the intentions behind it were good-natured.
I don't mind dropping it, but I guess my issue with it is how it all seemed very performative? I mean, just quietly dropping "guys" from the line would've been a non-issue. But Probst and production had to make a big deal out of it to make the show seem more "woke" and up to the times (and possibly get media coverage for it).
Honestly, that line is the least of their issues. If the game itself is still sexist in its design, then that solves absolutely nothing. Pretty similar to how Probst had to insert himself in the sexism discussion in the S40 finale to make it all about himself. Everything revolves around making Probst look good nowadays.
Bunch of cry babies on here
You asked a question, so the community answered you civilly then you called us a bunch of babies. I doubt you even bothered to read anything.
With the likes of you, being called "woke" is a compliment. Better be that than be a backward bigot like you.
You didn't even answer my question why are pronouns a political topic.
If you're so uppity by how a show is being liberal, then make your own show, "Conservative Survivor"!
Because I'm convinced you're just a fucking troll, you're outta here.
It goes without saying you are a fucking bigot and your ass is blocked from here.
