Sandra is far from being the best imo
I know many people say Sandra because she has won twice but she also walked out on Winners-at-War when she could’ve fought to get back in and possibly win. Her quitting really changed how I feel about her
I haven't seen every season... But from what I seen brian season 4. The way he played season 5 is almost as good as you can. He cut relationships when having to and put on his car salesman facade for 39 days. By the end he was so unlikeable that he almost had to take clay to win the jury... It was almost like watching LeBron James vs a bunch of middle school B team starters! I would like to see him on another season but i know that's not happening plus ik that he probably would be voted off right away because he's a dirtbag.
@Jacksonhermanw50, Brian won’t come back. He was asked back in All-Stars, but asked for a huge cash prize for returning, so they didn’t put him on. And he killed a puppy with a bow. Too much controversy for someone that production doesn’t even like.
@Kkendall.clare Sandra quitting on Winners at War only shows how great she is. She realized she didn't need it, and she left, she plays by her own rules, and won't go after all the stuff Probst tries to insert to this show, like "digging deep" and all that bullshit. Look how proud she was at having the sitout bench named after her. This is Sandra's greatness - you don't have to win everything to still be the winner, you don't have to be a challenge beast to be a great Survivor player. I was really annoyed at the moment in Game Changers when Probst practically bullied Cirie into completing a challenge, just so he could have "a great TV moment". It was an embarassing TV moment. And I love players like Sandra who are great counters to all that Probst bullshit. My only problem with Sandra is that she should have stopped after Heroes vs. Villains. She really didn't need Game Changers and especially Winners at War.
@Ifoundalemontree I think that the greatest of all time needs to be great in all aspects. I think Tony or Rob should be the GOAT because of how well rounded they are.
Well, I don't think Rob is well rounded at all. Don't get me wrong, I like Boston Rob as a character, and I think he is one of the best players (not top 10, but top 20 maybe), but he is so overrated.
Boston Rob is very charismatic, is very good at survival in the wild and is a challenge beast, but he is also very aggressive and plays an absolutely reckless game that always goes back to hurt him.
Marquesas - Boston Rob was perhaps the main reason the Maraamu tribe sucked so much, as he was at the centre of the conflict. He preferred to keep useless Sarah over hard-working Hunter just because he was so obsessed with being in power, and with Sarah's "assets". When he was switched to Rotu, he immediately became enemy number one because he was so aggressive towards the Rotu alliance, which is pretty much equal to saying "please vote me out".
All-Stars - Amber said it best. She won because everyone hated Boston Rob. You can say that, hey, Boston Rob dominated this season, and he did, and it was a great move to put yourself in a win-win situation by bringing to the final the person you wanted to marry, so the million Dollars would be yours anyway, but he could have won the season himself had he not been so aggressive and such an asshole to pretty much everyone else in the game. Yes, he got everyone to trust him to the point they all thought he would go to the final with them, but still, he didn't make them vote for him and not Amber.
Heroes vs. Villains - Boston Rob came completely unprepared for this season. Although I will say that yes, it was very unfair to cast Russell on this season without the others knowing who he was and what his game was like.
Redemption Island - Yes, he dominated this season and finally won Survivor. BUT... this is the worst season of all time, and it had one of the dumbest casts. The Zapatera tribe self-destructed by going after Russell for no apparent reason (since Russell was already a known entity, they could get him out whenever they wanted, but instead they just weakened their tribe, that wasn't too strong to begin with), and the Ometepe tribe was so star-struck by having Boston Rob, they just followed everything he said like zombies. So Boston Rob got pretty lucky to be on a season full of clueless, easily exploitable idiots.
Winners at War - Boston Rob again proves his inability to adapt. The buddy system, that worked on the Ometepe idiots, could not work on people who have also won Survivor (even if these people are Ben and Adam, who are not the brightest of the winners). While Boston Rob did demonstrate some great abilities at first, he was quickly outsmarted and sent to the Edge.
So Boston Rob is a very skillful player, who just doesn't really know how to put his skills to good use.
I don't know who is the GOAT probably Tony or Rob
At first I thought you meant goat, like Phillip Sheppard or Kass McQuillen, short for scapegoat. But the GOAT, in my opinion, might be Tom Westman or maybe Rupert Boneham. Tony and Sandra are up there, too, and I'd put Boston Rob in the top 15.
@Kkendall.clare I understand that she walked. But let's be realistic, we all know against people like Yul,Danni,Tyson there is no chance Sandra could have beat them, even if she had the fire tokens to get advantages.
What do you think?
