Here are the 3 US survivor contestants that casted for MTV’s The Challenge 37: Spies, Lies, and Allies!
We all know which Survivor season had the worst editing (Samoa), so let’s flip the script. Which Survivor season would you say had the best editing? This could be because of screentime balancing, cinematography, presentation of certain scenes, etc.
For me, it’s a no-brainer which season had the best editing: Survivor Borneo. Good balance of screentime between everyone, decent storytelling, and also I love the soundtrack. I’d say Micronesia and Pearl Islands are also up there.
Odd One Out
The tribe switch occurs. Trish remains on Aparri with Sarah. Kass and Tasha are sent to Aparri while Spencer is sent to Solana. During the reward and immunity challenge, Spencer takes Trish's place and vice versa.
In the events leading up to the immunity challenge, Cliff begins to bond with Spencer which worries LJ and Tony.
So after New Solana loses the immunity challenge, the brawns and beauties decide to form an alliance to vote out Spencer. Despite Jefra worrying about Cliff's friendship with Spencer, Tony assures her that even if Cliff does flip, they still have the majority. So it looks likes it gonna a clear 6-1 or 5-2 against Spencer.
But Cliff overhears a conversation between Tony, LJ, and Jefra in which Tony reveals that Cliff and Lindsey aren't really part of the alliance. Tony tells the two beauties that he lied to Sarah saying that Cliff and Lindsey were targeting her and also tried to throw the challenge to get rid of Cliff. Tony also only sees Woo as his obedient slave and plans to betray him later on.
Cliff is outraged by what he hears and decides to betray Tony. Besides, Cliff doesn't want to vote Spencer out. Cliff goes to Spencer who correctly assumes that he's the target. Cliff says yes but tells Spencer, he's in. Cliff tells Spencer he wants blindside LJ as payback on Tony. He also tells Spencer that he could sway Lindsey and Woo to vote for LJ as well. Spencer is unsure if he can trust what Cliff says but he doesn't have a choice. The two men confirm their plan and depart.
As Tribal Council looms, Cliff tells Lindsey what he heard from Tony and that should betray him and blindside LJ. Lindsey is more than happy to go along the plan. Next, Cliff tries to convince Woo to turn against Tony saying that Tony only views him as a slave and plans to betray him. Woo is shocked and tells Cliff he'll think about his plan.
Woo is conflicted. Should he stick with his original alliance and vote out Spencer? Or should he make a move and blindside LJ?
As Solana is heading to Tribal Council, LJ is so confident Spencer is going home that he decides to leave his idol at camp. Meanwhile, Lindsey expresses to concern to Cliff about Woo's loyalty.
At Tribal Council, Jeff calls the vote. Tony voted for Spencer, with Jefra and Spencer casting their votes next. Lindsey then cast her vote for LJ, and was followed by Cliff, LJ, and finally Woo (who made his vote for "strategic reasons").
LJ, having left his immunity idol at camp, does not play it. The first vote is for Spencer, followed by a vote for LJ. The tally is tied again at 2 for Spencer and 2 for LJ. A third vote was read for Spencer followed by a third for LJ tying the tally at 3-3 with one vote remaining, The final vote comes up for LJ, pleasing Spencer but shocking Tony and Jefra. LJ becomes the fifth person voted out of Survivor: Cagayan. As LJ departs, Tony looks at Woo and says, "You have some explaining to do."
So in episode 5, Lindsey does NOT quit and Cliff's still in the game. Before the reward challenge, Jeff offers the contestants a munity option. Trish and Spencer take the option and switch tribes.
Afterwards, the season plays out almost exactly the same. The only change is that Lindsey is voted out after Morgan in a surprise double elimination becoming the third member of the jury while Cliff is blindsided just like LJ in the actual show and becomes the fourth member of the jury.
Rest in peace, Cliff.
So, what do you think? Should I do another Twisted Survivor post? Let me know in the comments.
Obviously some tribes are better than others, Kama was dominant, Ulong was useless, etc. but what would you say is the number of bad tribes in Survivor? There's some that are obvious, Ulong, Coyopa, Luzon, etc. but there are some that are more debatable, like Tadhana, or Morgan. What I want to know is how many tribes you would consider BAD in the history of survivor. I would say 14, maybe 15.
If Pagong made an alliance then.....well thats 5 strong in the merge the vote would have went 5-4-1 the 1 being Sean and his strategy but who would they vote? I personaly think they would of voted Rudy (for not being fun to have around) or Sue (for being to loud) so thats a toss up. I say they vote Rudy so Rudy finishes in 10th not 3rd to me if Pagong was smart. Now the Pagong 5 would have voted Sue because Rich had been getting food and Kelly was a lot closer to Pagong meaning that she would be voted in a 5-3-1 the 1 again being Sean who cast the vote for Greg. I think Sean would be the next to go because every won thought he was kind of a goofball and Rich was getting fish so I think it would be a 7-1 vote. The next is Richard no doubt, in a 6-1 vote which i think Kelly would have voted him to. With Kelly winning immunity the Pagong 5 would be forced to vote out 1 of their own which I think the answer is Gretchen or Greg with them being the physical threats Greg and Collen would vote toghter (sorry i can't spell) and Gretchen and Jenna would vote toghter now the toss up i think would be Gervase and Kelly. Gervase would side with Greg and Collen i think but Kelly.... would maybe go to Jenna and Gretchen but im not sure tbh. so it would be a 3-3 tie then a 2-2 revote tie now i think its based off of former votes now the 5-4-1 vote i think again Tagi would vote Gretchen in the 5-3-1 vote Gretchen again so that means Gretchen would go via previous votes. With Kelly winning immunity Jenna would be the next to go with a 3-2 vote or a 4-1 vote depending on who Kelly voted. Kelly again would win immunity meaning that Gervase would be the next to go with a 3-1 vote. Now Kelly wins again, Who Would she take,,,,, Greg or Collen. The answer would be Collen because Kelly and Collen were good friends on the island. Greg and Kelly weren't that close so in the final tribal council. Collen v Kelly. Collen's locked votes are: Greg, Gervase and Gretchen. Kelly's locked votes are: Sue, Rich and Sean. The toss up vote is Jenna. Jenna could vote with the original pagong but you have to keep this in mind... Jenna and Kelly were very close but Collen and Jenna were close to........ so in a 4-3 vote........ I think....... Jenna would have voted Collen because they were really good friends. So that makes the first winner Collen which means that Rich, Sue and Rudy probably wouldn't be in All-Stars. They would be replaced with Greg, Collen, and Gretchen :O who wins this season....Amber now because of this Rich would never be arrested and he would probably be asked back :O what do you think? Will Sean vote with Tagi? or will there have been a blindside (sorry for not linking every thing. I'm only 12 so vocab may be rusty :/)
Caramoan, in my opinion, is a bottom 10 Survivor season. This can be attributed to many things, but one more than any is its poor casting. A good number of the "Favorites" cast this season were far from it, and it’s clear they were only cast because they supposedly made good TV. Compare that to Micronesia, where every single Favorite cast (minus Fairplay depending who you ask) was actually a fan favorite.
There are four Favorites specifically I would’ve definitely replaced if I had the choice: Brandon, Phillip, Francesca, and Dawn. But who would take their place? I thought about this, and I've narrowed it down to a few nominations.
First up, I’d probably replace Brandon with either Grant Mattos or Dave Ball. I considered Jim Rice, but in retrospect I didn’t really think he’d fit the bill.
Who replaces Phillip is a no-brainer. If it had to be another fan-favorite runner-up, then definitely Stephen Fishbach.
For Francesca, I lean toward replacing her with Ashley Underwood, though I think Sabrina Thompson is a good choice as well.
Finally, Dawn. It was tough deciding who to replace her with, but I think either Christine Shields or Natalie Bolton would be a good choice.
So that would be my ideal recasting of Survivor Caramoan. I think this alone could’ve saved the season. What do you think?
Is there anyone out there that likes seasons 21 - 26? I personaly do!!
So I found it quite hard to grasp the Immunity Island rules so after some help from the community, I would like to do this post for those who are still confused. So, here we go (please flag me for any mistakes).
Act 1: A member of the losing tribe is sent to Immunity Island. Once on Immunity Island, the player receives an Immunity Necklace and the mechanics for that round's mini-game.
Scenario 1: The castaway chooses to play the minigame. Regardless of the result, this player will keep his immunity, but cannot vote.
Scenario 2: The castaway chooses to leave. They will immediately return to camp to be able to strategize and vote at Tribal Council, but the player must assign the Immunity Necklace to someone else.
Act 2: The player stays on Immunity Island to play the minigame. They will stay on Immunity Island until Tribal Council, not being able to take part in the strategizing at camp.
Scenario 1: The player wins the minigame, obtaining themselves an advantage in the game.
Scenario 2: The player loses the minigame, receiving a pre-determined punishment.
Scenario 3: For choosing to stay on Immunity Island, the player may also look for a clue to their tribe's Hidden Immunity Idol hidden back at camp.*** It remains to be seen if refusing to stay on Immunity Island also bars the player from looking for the clue to their tribe's idol back at camp.
Hope it clears everything up.
What do you guys think?
Is there a reason the Native American contestant category was removed? I am pretty confident I remember there being one. I assume it's because there are relatively few contestants who have identified as Native American, but it seems very weird to just outright delete an entire demographic category, especially when Native American visibility in the media is already so low. I feel like disregarding an entire race directly contributes to cultural erasure.
Anyone have a favored quitter that you wish to see return? For me I would want to see Bi return
I encourage you get straight to the point. It's annoying. Thanks.
In the Africa Survivor (old, I saw it in a re-run a while ago) they donated supplies to a Christian run AIDS hospital, they showed beds with kids whose parents had dies of AIDS, and delivered supplies to them. I want to donate to them, does anyone know which hospital that was? Can you imagine giving up a normal life to go live out there and do that work? That is truly a good cause.
